What is Included in the Price:
- Registration papers with TICA or CCA (a proof of alteration must be provided for the kitten sold without breeding rights)
- Initial vaccination & deworming procedures
- Microchipping (included in shipping cost for international Buyers only)
- PKD testing done on parents
- DNA testing done on parents (FCoV,FHV,FIV,FeKV)
- A stool sample (negative)
- A Starter Kit (one-week supply of food, basic toys, Mother blanket)
What is Extra:
- There is a $10 per day boarding fee if you do not pick up your kitten on time or during one week after the pickup date
- The Seller offers optional early kitten spay/neuter surgery provided by Seller’s veterinarian. Prices: male – $250, female $350 (subject to change)
Deposit & Payment
- A non-refundable deposit of $500 or the full sale price, whichever is less, is required for the purchase of a kitten/cat
- The kitten/cat will be temporarily reserved for 24 hours once the Seller is given notice that the Buyer is sending the deposit. If the deposit is not received during that time the temporary reservation will be canceled
- Should the Buyer, after having paid the deposit, decide against purchasing the kitten/cat, deposit will be forfeited. Otherwise, it will be applied towards the total sale price of the kitten chosen
- The Buyer MUST pay the full balance owing by the time the kitten/cat turns 8 weeks old. If not, the above kitten/cat may be re-listed, and deposit would be considered forfeited
- All payments could be made personally in cash, via INTERAC E-transfer, MoneyGram or Western Union

- The payment shall be made in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless another currency was agreed upon between the Seller and the Buyer
- By paying the deposit the Buyer indicates that he or she understands and agrees to abide by the terms stated in this contract
- The Seller reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel this contract at any time before the delivery of the kitten/cat. In that case, the full deposit amount will be returned to the Buyer
Shipping & Travel
- Worldwide cargo shipment is available from Toronto’s Pearson Airport (YYZ)
- The Buyer will be responsible to pay for all travel and shipping expenses. Should the Seller agree to help deliver the kitten/cat in person, any mileage will be at the expense of the Buyer
- Compliance with national rules and regulations pertaining to import of domestic animals (age limit, rabies control policy, quarantine requirements, etc.) is the responsibility of the Buyer
- The Seller is not liable for a kitten/cat lost or stolen after acceptance by the airline carrier. It is the responsibility of the Buyer to file a claim with the airline carrier if the shipment is lost, damaged, or delayed resulting in a mortality or sickness of the kitten/cat
Health Guarantee
- The Seller will provide the Buyer with records of vaccination, deworming and a stool test performed by a licensed veterinarian
- The Seller guarantees to the best of her/his knowledge that the kitten/cat is in good health and free from internal and external parasites at the time of purchase
- A kitten/cat sold to a household with other pets must be isolated for a period of 21 days
- It will be the responsibility of the Buyer to have the kitten/cat examined by a veterinarian within 72 hours after the pet was taken to a new home
- If any serious health conditions are identified within that period, the Seller will take the kitten/cat back and refund the payment, less the deposit and any shipping charges, under the following conditions:
- the Seller is provided with proper documentation, from a licensed veterinarian, stating the medical issue and that the kitten/cat is seriously medically deficient
- the second examination by a veterinarian of the Seller’s choice corroborates these claims
- After the 72-hour period, the Seller can no longer provide the health guarantee, except for genetic diseases (see below)
- The Seller guarantees the kitten/cat against lethal genetic defects for 12 months following the date of purchase. If, during that time, the kitten/cat died or must be destroyed due to a genetic or congenital defect, the Seller will offer a replacement with a similar kitten/cat at the Seller’s earliest convenience, should the following conditions be met:
- the Buyer provides the Seller with a necropsy completed and signed by licensed impartial Veterinary Pathologist, at the Buyer’s expense, stating that the cause of death is unquestionably a genetic or congenital defect
- the replacement is for the kitten/cat only
- the Seller will not be liable for shipping costs
- the second examination by a veterinarian of the Seller’s choice corroborates these claims
- The Seller assumes no liability or responsibility for any veterinary care for this kitten/cat after the Buyer takes possession of the said animal. Under no circumstances will the Seller be responsible for any veterinary bills incurred by the Buyer
- The Seller reserves the right to refuse providing health guarantee for sales to certain countries. Should it be a case, the Buyer will be notified in advance before proceeding with the deposit
Spay/Neuter Agreement (if applicable)
- In case no Breeding Rights were included as part of the sale, the Buyer agrees that the kitten will be spayed/neutered by the time the kitten reaches 5 lbs. of weight or no later than 6 months of age at the Buyer’s expense. The Seller should receive a proof of alteration from the Buyer immediately after that. This is a condition for Pedigree release and a mandatory requirement for the kitten sale
- As alternative to the above, the Seller offers an option for early spaying/neutering before the kitten is taken into a new home. If this option is chosen, the kitten will be subjected to alteration as soon as its weight and health condition allow to undergo the procedure safely. The kitten will then be kept in the Cattery for a full recovery period until the age of 14-16-weeks old or depending on the age of the said kitten full recovery
- The cost of the alteration is extra and is subject to change, depending on the Seller’s veterinarian’s fees. The additional cost will be shared with the Buyer and added to the kitten sale price. Pedigree certificate will be ready by the date of the kitten release
- The Buyer should read and consider all possible risks and health implications that may occur as a result of early spaying/neutering. If such option is chosen, the Buyer assumes all related risks.
- A kitten/cat sold to an international Buyer without Breeding Rights will be altered before shipping
Treatment of Cat
- Under NO circumstances shall this kitten be de-clawed. Declawing is an amputation procedure and is often the cause of litter box problems (“inappropriate elimination”) and early arthritis symptoms. The Seller considers de-clawing as an abuse and an abandonment of the kitten/cat and would deny the sale if such intentions became known to the Seller. - The kitten/cat should be fed food kitten used to or a premium grain free food . The Seller is feeding BARF style Raw diet If another brand chosen, please make a transition slowly to avoid a possible diarrhea
- Each kitten/cat needs frequent and kind human attention. Please provide generous amounts of play and exercise
- The kitten/cat should not be caged except
- Under NO circumstances shall this kitten/cat be permitted to live outdoors
- Should the kitten/cat will be allowed to go outside the Buyer has to provide supervision or guarantee pet’s safety by using a harness / leash or a protected animal enclosure or carrier
- Under NO circumstances shall this kitten/cat be tattooed, pierced, or undergo any unnecessary “fashionable” body modification
- The new kitten/cat should be confined to a private room with toys, food, the kitten’s litter box, and plenty of human contact until familiar to his/her new surroundings
- If Any of above mentioned abusive behavior ( de-clawing) noticed by Seller ,Seller has a right to reclaim kitten immediately and Buyer to be fined amount of $5000.
Waiver of Ownership of Cat or Permanent Transfer of Cat by Buyer
- The Buyer agrees that under NO circumstances will the kitten/cat EVER be sold or given to a pet shop, animal shelter, research laboratory, or similar facility
- Should the Buyer, for any reason, including death, not be able to keep the above kitten/cat, the Seller will be given the first option of his/her rescuing
- This kitten/cat may not be sold or given away without written permission of the Seller to another owner
- If buyer for what ever reason cannot keep kitten seller must be notified and be provided information for a new owner immediately or kitten must be returned to the seller immediately
Breach of Contract
- In the event the Buyer is found to have violated any of the terms and conditions of this contract, the kitten/cat is to be surrendered unconditionally to the Seller
- The Seller may reclaim physical and legal ownership of the kitten/cat without due process of law for any breach of contract with no refund of purchase price
- In the event the Buyer is found to have violated Spay/Neuter Agreement the Seller will enforce breach of contract for the dollar amount of $5,000 (five thousand dollars)
- In the event the Buyer is found to have violated any other terms of this contract, the Buyer shall be liable to the Seller for the damages caused to the reputation of the Seller in the amount of two times the purchase price of said kitten/cat, plus full shipping costs and associated veterinary expenses upon return of the kitten/cat to the Seller and all attorney, legal and related miscellaneous fees that result in prosecuting this contract
- Any legal action, which may arise under the terms of this contract, will be brought in the county/city of Seller’s residence and will be interpreted under, and governed by, the laws of the province of Ontario, Canada
Acknowledgement of Deposit Paid and Acceptance of Contract
- The Buyer and the Seller signatures that appear immediately below indicate that the Seller has received the deposit and the Buyer has agreed to the terms of this contract
- This portion serves as the Buyer’s receipt for the deposit
- This document is a legally binding contract. In signing this document, the Buyer acknowledges that he or she has read, fully understood, and agreed to ALL of the terms and conditions stated above
