About us

LovelyPaws  is a small home-based cattery located in Toronto, Ontario.

     It started with the arrival of absolutely adorable Nefertiti. The pleasure of watching her play with our Angoras, looking into their innocent eyes and touching their silky fur was absolutely endless. Without a doubt, I quickly fell in love with her, knowing that I became the owner of the most beautiful Scottish Straight. Since then, many things in our household have changed dramatically – if you think you own your cat, you are wrong – they own you!  Miraculously they manipulate your mind and dictate their way of life. But believe it or not, little by little you start to accept their rules and even start to enjoy this new-found way of life.

     So, we acquired several more cats, both Scottish Straights and Fold, and set off on a new path of running a cattery. I have to thank Nina Prytkova , the owner and founder of L'Oreillard Cattery, Tatiyana and Dmitri Tsvetkov , Marble Delight, and Tatiyana Avramenko, for trusting me with her pets and mentoring me with exceptional patience and integrity. Without her support, I would have probably never found the courage to start breeding these wonderful creatures. Another big thank you is to my dear parents, who despite their  respectable age, are always there to give me a hand as well as my close friends who are always here to help me.

     At the moment, LovelyPaws is committed to producing kittens in all popular colours with all kinds of Tabby patterns – Classic, Mackerel, Spotted, Marbled and Patched (Tortoiseshell or Tortie and Torbie).  

 We had Started our special breeding program and   exited to announce that we have blue and odd eye kittens  and also possibly having a pure white kittens. 

We  are also extremely exited to announce that our furry family is being joined in a near future  by two absolutely stunning  cats (pictures to come soon).

     There is no caging in our cattery, our cats and kittens are treated as Royalty that they are! By the time they leave our home to go to their new-found parents, we do our best to make sure they feel comfortable and relaxed in their new home, as they do with us. We try our hardest to ensure that they walk into their new homes feeling like princesses and princes.
